Voting*Guide*

Consider this: on today's elections I'm going to vote for... myself!

Yes indeed, this campaign is about You. I hereby present a choice we may take into consideration:
  • Who likes to project, without knowing?
It is the innerworld where the solution is to be found. The outside world is a mirror. There is a development going on in the world, which is called global non-compliance, by following your heart.

One Love! One Heart!
Let's get together and feel all right.
Hear the children cryin' (One Love!);
Hear the children cryin' (One Heart!),
Sayin': give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Sayin': let's get together and feel all right. Wo wo-wo wo-wo
Bob Marley - One Love

We can choose to let go of the system of control and power. We'll go for each other, because:

I am another you.

And we are warned, if we do not go for freedom and love... we will perish as fools.

'Those who benefit from any societal mechanism rarely wish to understand that mechanism especially if it appears to grant them power, control or authority over their fellow man and understanding that mechanism would limit, diminish or remove that apparent power, control or authority. They simply do not want to know. Because… It is far easier to Ignorantly Control Others than it is to Wisely Control Yourself.' – unknown.

"Every step we take towards making the State Caretaker of our lives,
by that much we move toward making the State our Master." – Dwight D. Eisenhower

In a state-run society the government promises you security. But it's a false promise predicated on the idea that the opposite of security is risk. Nothing could be further from the truth. The opposite of security is insecurity, and the only way to overcome insecurity is to take risks. The gentle government that promises to hold your hand as you cross the street refuses to let go on the other side. - T. Forstmann.

"People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don't know each other; they don't know each other because they have not communicated with each other." - Martin Luther King

To get straight down to business: whatever comes after the elections, and how beautiful and sincere the promises sounded, the course will remain the same ....: The crisis will not be solved, but worsen. There will be even more suffering. Everything gets more expensive. And those responsible will - like now - profit. Our citizens will continue to be affected under the guise of crime and terrorism. Free energy will not be available, fuel prices will only rise.

Health care costs are no longer manageable, our contribution will go up. Compensation for alternative medicine will slowly disappear. In education will not be invested, let alone that reforms are implemented. Studying is rising steeply. Our diet will be more harmful, healthy eating is becoming more difficult. Poverty in other parts of the world will not be solved. Immigration will increase as well as the therewith associated problems. International conflicts will not be nipped in the bud but flare. 'Brussels' becomes even more powerful. Social discontent will grow until the next election. And then we all go to vote.

Unless .... we change. And, to begin with, by NOT to vote. "- Source Lextell's

Why we vote?

We do not think about it very much. It’s your right, it's your responsibility, you name it. There is always a party who reasonably fits your own ideas. Never completely, but more than other parties. My thesis is that it is better not to vote at all. Because there is no valid reason. Bold statement? You do not immediately agree with me but I challenge you to come and reflect on the question why you actually vote.

Myth 1: If you do not vote you have no right to speak
When you vote you give someone the authority to speak for you. With your vote/voice you give away the right to speak for yourself. You can compare it with the following metaphor: If your partner asks what you want to eat tonight, and you say, 'but you decide', you can not subsequently complain that you do not like it. You give your partner authorization to determine the menu. You gave away the right to speak. Read further about the 8 other myths.
